BudBreakZX was founded in 2014 by Alexandra Mitchell, a third-generation winemaker with an MBA in agricultural business management. After witnessing many family-owned vineyards and farms struggle with modern business challenges, Alexandra assembled a team of experts to bridge the gap between traditional farming knowledge and contemporary business strategies.

The name "BudBreak" symbolizes the critical moment in a vineyard's annual cycle when new growth emerges – representing the transformation and renewal we bring to agricultural businesses. The "ZX" represents our data-driven, forward-thinking approach that pushes beyond conventional consulting methods.

What began as a small consultancy serving local wineries in New Brunswick has grown into a respected firm with clients across Canada and the northeastern United States.
